LG Elections: Hon. Faruq Ijaola Ajobi Promises Massive Infrastructural Development For Ifelodun People

Hon Faruq Ijaola Ajobi says it is a dawn for growth and development in Ifelodun LCDA. Adding that he is ready to battle it out with the current chairman of Ifelodun LCDA, Hon Mayor Akanbi Okeowo, who will be running for his second term in office come this July.

Ijaola said this after he picked up his chairmanship form at the Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission, LASIEC. He will be contesting under the auspices of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, for the chairmanship seat if Ifelodun LCDA.

He however urged all well meaning Ifelodians to join him in this new mandate of reshaping the LCDA and positioning her for greater heights.

Part of his agenda when elected into office include: An all Inclusive development, improved infrastructure, healthcare, education, and social services for all.
His government will also engage in economic empowerment, supporting local businesses and entrepreneurs.

He will also ensure effective governance with transparency and accountability

While appealing to voters for support, the aspirant urged the electorate to put aside their differences and work for a greater tomorrow and a brighter future for Ifelodun.

His words, “we appeal to voters from all walks of life to support us. Let’s put aside our differences and work towards a common goal – a brighter future for all.

“If elected into office, my government will engage in massive Infrastructure developments; like upgrading of new roads, efficient water supply, maintenance of public facilities, provision of social welfare, community engagement, promotion of social justice and fostering citizen participation in decision-making processes”,

Ijobi added that his experience in public service and proven leadership qualities in community development is an added advantage as he is set to bring fresh ideas and innovative solutions with proven leadership ability into his administration. He also noted that he is passionate about serving the Ifelodun people and promised his commitment to ensure that Ifelodun becomes one of the best LCDA’S in the state.
