LASG Determine To Promote Tourism, Cultural Heritage Of The Yoruba People – Aregbe

The Special Adviser on Tourism, Arts, and Culture, Mr. Idris Aregbe led senior officials of the Ministry on an inspection tour of key tourism sites in Lagos recently.

The tour reinforced the state government’s commitment to sustainable tourism development and fostered deeper engagement with local host communities, whose roles in site and infrastructure preservation are crucial to a vibrant tourism sector.

The team visited LUFASI Nature Park, a conservation-focused NGO; the Yemisi Shyllon Museum of Art at Pan-Atlantic University, renowned for its rich collection of Nigerian art; and the Didi Museum, a hub for contemporary artistic expressions.

This visit further underscores the Lagos State Government’s dedication to promoting tourism, preserving cultural heritage, and enhancing visitor experiences across the state.
