FEC Approves $1.07 Billion for Health Reforms, HIV Treatment

The Federal Executive Council (FEC) has approved $1.07 billion for healthcare reforms under the HOPE program and N4.8 billion for HIV treatment.
Coordinating Minister of Health, Prof. Muhammad Ali Pate, stated that $500 million will enhance primary healthcare, maternal, and child health services.
Additionally, 150,000 HIV treatment packs will be procured in the next four months, reinforcing the government’s commitment to affordable healthcare.
